Black-owned businesses around the nation have been in the spotlight in the wake of George Floyd’s death.
I truly appreciate all of the solidarity and support my people have been receiving this week in the wake of the senseless killing of George Floyd. But I’m going to keep it real with my people, cause I love ya’ll. Donations to the NAACP & Black Lives Matter alone are NOT going to help us right now. Most of this money won’t ever even see a black pocket or a black-owned business.
 
If you want to truly support black people during these times, support us by: buying from black-owned businesses, educating yourself on black issues and black culture, and speaking out against any racial injustices that you see. Since we’re based in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina, we’ve compiled a list of black-owned businesses you can shop with and support in NC. As you probably already know, Luka Sabbat is an icon in the fashion world currently. He’s only 21, but Luka’s been killing the fashion game since he was 14, when he first joined Instagram in 2012 as a young teenager trying to flaunt his Supreme fits and designer pieces.

Originally from New York, Luka was raised in Paris, as his father worked in the area as a prominent fashion designer.
